1.armed with 是过去分词短语表示被动的行为，即“自己（被）用某物武装起来”。不可以用 arming，因为现在分词表示主动的行为，即武装别人。 2.up 是副词，表示往上爬，into 是介词，表示进入钟楼，副词与介词各司其职。
